Wade Lee

The light, the color associated with the story — this is the most essential craft of cinematography.

Wade Lee is a professional cinematographer and director. A disciple of Beijing Film Academy (BFA) cinematography professor Yongsi Liu, he is dedicated to the patient observation of light and color — pursuing authenticity, atmosphere, and texture in every frame.

In 2015, he was selected as a participant of the Vittorio Storaro Master Class, an experience that further refined his approach to image-making and the emotional language of cinema. His work spans feature films, shorts, advertising campaigns, and music videos across China and beyond.

善于观察光与色彩的变化，追求光线的真实与质感。多年来致力于前卫广告拍摄与剧情片创作，作品横跨电影、电视剧、广告与音乐 MV 领域。

他的镜头语言始终围绕"为故事而存在的光与色"这一信条 — 让画面成为叙事的延伸，让每一帧都承载情绪与呼吸。
